Cedarville University Journalism Mock Webpages
In the fall of 2015, a group and I created new online content for the Cedarville University journalism's academic website for a class project. Our goals for the new mock website were to:
- grow the program into something sustainable and impressive.
- explain what journalism is about.
- facilitate interaction between prospective students and faculty.

Step 2: Generating Content and Usability TestingThe next step was to generate content for the website. We interviewed the head professor of the major and several students for their opinions. After writing content based on our research and analysis and reviewing the information, we then tested the content on users, asking them to answer pre-test questions, requiring them to do specific tasks with the content, and providing feedback in post-test questionnaires. We took the feedback, reviewed it, and implemented any improvements we saw fit.
