My work experiences have seen me working as a copyeditor and occasional writer for Rotoscopers (a news site for animated movies), as an editing intern at Elsevier in Miamisburg, Ohio, and as an editor for an undergraduate research journal called Channels. My recent experiences have included collaborating with a group to design and write a brochure and flyer for Cedarville University's communication major and revising and redesigning Cedarville University's journalism website.
Editor - Channels Undergraduate Research Journal (2016 - Present)
In the fall of 2016, I helped to develop an undergraduate research journal, Channels, at Cedarville University for the Centennial Library. I was part of a student-led editorial committee who worked with library staff and university faculty. Currently, the editorial committee is working on the 2017 spring edition of Channels. My duties as an editor are as follows:

Editing Intern - Elsevier (May - July 2015)
In the summer of 2015, I worked at Elsevier in Miamisburg, Ohio, as an editing intern. During the two months at Elsevier, I did several tasks:
- converted a 200-page Microsoft Word document into an electronic format using an online publishing tool called Confluence.
- created and edited articles in Confluence.
- reviewed and provided feedback for product-specific online help systems.
- collaborated with subject matter experts (SMEs) for articles' clarity and accuracy.
Student Grader - Cedarville University (2016 - Present)
At Cedarville University, I grade engineering students' lab reports according to the writing assignment's rubric. I grade for spelling errors, grammar mistakes, punctuation, clarity, and conciseness.
